In the 1970s and 1980s, portable radios, known as transistors, were in high demand among teenagers. We went with them to the park, to school, but especially on trips! I remember how happy we were to have them in the room in the evening, looking for music programs and hopping until the teacher came over us and told us to turn off the light.

The smaller device, the one with the leather cover, we took with us on the road, in our backpack and we listened to music on mountain trails. And the flashlight was an indispensable object in trips. How to go to the toilet behind the cottage, if you didn't have this precious object !?

And, of course, it was sometimes an element of torture when your colleagues scared you with it. But it was of great value later, at home, when we hid under the blanket to read, secretly, love or investigation novels forbidden by parents! They seemed to be even more interesting to read.
